Everyone knows there’s no substitute for hard work-or is there? Well no, actually there isn’t, but there is such a thing as working smarter. By working smarter you could tap into a whole new income stream, over and above the returns you are currently getting from your business. Think for a moment, what would say an extra $5k per month mean to you and your family? Could it provide that new car, boat, overseas holiday, extension to the house, or maybe make a new house more affordable? You decide!

Did you know that nearly half of small to medium sized businesses don’t have a website? Many of those that do, have sites that quite frankly-don’t work! A good website does not have to be excessively expensive, but there are certain criteria that absolutely must be met. It must be interesting to those visiting it, capture and hold their attention long enough to get your message across to them, and make them want to contact you. E.g. Your business card, customer referral, or any number of sources might direct them to your website, but once they get there, your site must do as good a job as you would in person to look after them and satisfy their needs. If your site is doing its job properly, they may not even want to visit others, or if they do, will soon return to you. Get this right and that new income will begin to flow.

Your site must be properly protected and maintained. It must be protected from any nasty viruses and hackers out there, updated and kept interesting to all who visit it. This will ensure that it continues to do its job in creating and maintaining that new income stream.
